The C. B. Hutchinson Memorial Challenge Cup was won by Argyle Cavalier (IRE) at 7/1 under John Carroll for trainer Mark Johnston. The Langthorpe Rated Handicap saw Murajja (USA) win at the short price of 2/9 favourite, ridden by Richard Hills and trained by P T Walwyn.

The concluding Levy Board Maiden Stakes was won by Maeterlinck (IRE) at 13/8 favourite, again ridden by Richard Hills and trained by B W Hills. The card also records a notable long-priced winner in The Scythian, who won the Yorkshire-Tyne Tees Television Handicap Stakes at 16/1 under Joe Fanning for trainer Bob Jones.
