The William Hill Mile itself produced a 14/1 winner in For Your Eyes Only, ridden by J Weaver and trained by Tim Easterby. The opening Oak Tree Stakes was won by Beraysim at 15/8 favourite under Frankie Dettori for trainer Michael Jarvis.

Other notable winners included Bionic, who won the European Breeders Fund New Ham Maiden Fillies Stakes at 7/2 under Kieren Fallon for trainer Sir Henry Cecil, and Tallulah Belle, who won the Drawing Room Stakes at 10/1 under Olivier Peslier for trainer Nick Littmoden.
